Abstract

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of the quality of chicks (1st and 2nd), the physical form of feed (mash and pelleted) and the nutrient content (normal and modified) on ascites mortality. Each treatment was applied to 40 one-day old chicks, which were allocated in pens. All birds were given ad libitum access to feed and water during the 56-day experimental period.
