ESTIMATION OF OPERATING COSTS OF FARM MACHINERY

Abstract

Several formulae can be used to evaluate mechanization projects based on the estimation of operating costs of machinery. In this paper two methods to estimate these costs are compared. Results indicate that a better method is the one that involves the time value of money because it incorporates the inflation effect.
