Abstract

Embryo mortality is a limiting factor in the production of domestic animals. The purpose of this work is to review the information about factors influencing embryo mortality in ewes, as well as to look for ways of decreasing and controlling embryo losses, such as a correct nutritional and reproductive management or exogenous treatment with growth hormones and progesterone.
