Abstract

SICOFRI is an information system for cold storage developed for the automatization and consultation of data from research related to several methods of preservation and cold storage of fruits and vegetables: precooling, freezing, controlled or modified atmospheres, and their combinations. SICOFRI might facilitate the decision making for choosing the best handling method of fruits and vegetables during storage, transport and commercialization.
